ZTE got everyone’s attention at the end of last year when it released the Axon 20 5G, the first-ever smartphone with an under-display selfie camera. The device received some decent reviews and now the company is already working on the next handset, the ZTE Axon 30 Pro 5G.
Rumors about ZTE’s next device started surfacing on Weibo, suggesting the Axon 30 Pro 5G might feature Samsung’s new 200 million pixel sensor called “S5KGND”. The sensor can support a 200MP main camera and can output 50 million pixel photos in 4 in 1 or 12.5 million pixel images 16 in 1 output.
The ZTE Axon 30 Pro 5G is also rumored to pack Qualcomm’s fastest chip yet, the Snapdragon 888, and be equipped with the same company’s Spectra 580 ISP. The Spectra 580 supports 200MP cameras, 4K HDR video and would definitely make this smartphone a photographer’s choice.
