OnePlus Nord 5G was released less than two months ago and has received excellent feedback from users so far. The new smartphone has a very reasonable price for what it has to offer performance-wise, the base model starting at €399 (about $460).
According to renowned leaker Evan Blass, OnePlus has already started working on the next Nord, which will reportedly cost €100 less than the current model. This means the new OnePlus Nord 5G will be priced at €299, which would make it a very important player in the mid-range market. The new Motorola Moto G9 Plus should be shaking in fear right about now.
In order to reduce costs, the new OnePlus Nord 5G will supposedly be released without the ultra-wide-angle selfie camera the current model is equipped with. The next Nord will reportedly run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 which means 5G networks will be supported as standard.
It is also believed the next Nord will have the same back camera setup as the current model – a 48 MP Sony IMX586 sensor alongside an 8MP ultrawide snapper, a 2MP macro camera, and a 5MP depth sensor. No specs have officially been confirmed yet, though.
There is not a lot of information about the upcoming OnePlus Nord 5G, but the rumor about the price alone is definitely something to get excited about.
