The World’s First Foldable Laptop is Here to Make your Life Easier

Foldable phones are already here, but might soon be forgotten, because there’s a New type of foldable device in town. Get ready to meet the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 prototype, scheduled to appear in the first half of 2020.

The device’s price is not yet revealed, neither its specs. What we do know is that the foldable laptop is supposed to be light, running Intel-based Windows 10 with great battery life, featuring built-in cellular support.

Why was the ThinkPad X1’s created? To make users’ lives even easier, make laptops even more portable.

The device features a 13.3-inch display in tablet mode, like any regular laptop. The flexible screen is an LG OLED panel with 2K resolution and a 4:3 aspect ratio.

A wireless keyboard will also come along with the foldable laptop, with stylus support, so you can fully enjoy the full 13.3-inch screen in desktop mode.

Another great experience when using the foldable laptop is the fact that you can enjoy the book mode when reading, which basically turns the computer into a digital book.

According to The Verge, the battery of the 2lbs device is situated on the right side of the screen, turning into the bottom portion when folding it, part ready to function as a digital keyboard now.
