We know smart clothing is slowly becoming a thing but that doesn’t mean accessories will be forgotten either: while this Mobile ViP+ Backpack from Targus might be perfect for storing all gadgets and keeping them nicely tucked inside, that’s not everything it can do.
The reason why this backpack found its way to CES this year is because it features a pocket on the side that hosts a Qi wireless charging dock which can safely hold your phone in place in a cradle-like system.
It connects to the battery through your usual cable, so it can be easily replaced with a larger battery, if you so choose, and there’s also another pocket that blocks RFID signals, which means that all your data will be safe.
Aside from this gimmick, the backpack comes with all the necessary straps and pockets that will ensure your devices are safe and sound. If you’re the type that has to travel with a whole bunch of them, then this might just be the bag for you.
Targus mentioned that the bag will become available in April and it will sell for $199. That might sound like a bit too much for a backpack, but you have to ask yourself: do you want to keep your expensive and often fragile tech safe or not?
