Apple’s Studio Buds Plus rumored for a while have leaked again – this time not in iOS notes but in an actual Amazon listing. And how gorgeous they are! The transparent Beats Studio Buds stand out in a market full of white and black as far as the eye can see.
Anyway, since Amazon jumped the gun and revealed Apple’s new headphones early, that means we have the full Studio Buds Plus details. Scroll on to see them.
According to the leaked listing, the Beats Studio Buds Plus will include active noise cancellation, transparency mode, and, notably, spatial audio. The earbuds will also have a long battery life, of up to 36 hours with the charging case included.
From the listing:
Beats Studio Buds+ support spatial audio for immersive music — delivering a surround sound experience — that you can take anywhere
Beats’ custom acoustic platform delivers rich, immersive sound whether you’re listening to music or taking calls
Each bud is equipped with a custom two-layer transducer that flexes to deliver cleaner bass and ultra-low distortion
With 3x larger microphones, new venting, and a powerful processor, Beats Studio Buds+ have up to 1.6x more active noise canceling power and up to 2x improved Transparency
3x larger microphones, powerful ANC, and a voice-targeting algorithm precisely filter background noise for crisp, clear call performance
The Studio Buds Plus will also be available in black, and white, for those who aren’t fans of that Nothing-style transparent look. The earbuds were listed for $169.95, which means the price went up by $20. It also means Apple is encouraging a Studio Buds Plus vs AirPods Pro discussion, since they’re both premium choices with similar features and prices.
The leak on Amazon says that the Studio Buds Plus will launch on May 20, although Apple has yet to make an official announcement – understandable, since they probably planned a little more fanfare for the announcement.
