WhatsApp is currently rolling an update to all iOS 15 users with version 22.2.75, aiming to bring better voice memos, support for Focus mode, as well as group/profile photos alongside notifications.
The major update is the ability to pause and resume while recording voice messages, as an extension to the newly added voice message preview feature which, thankfully, allows us to review voice message recordings before hitting send.
Moreover, the updated app also brings support for Focus mode, which allows users to filter notifications and apps and now choose whether they like to receive notifications.
The new feature essentially replaces the stop button introduced through the voice message preview feature with the current dynamic pause and resume controls.
The update is now available to certain iPhone users and will roll out to all eligible consumers over the coming weeks.
