Xbox’s reach just got a little larger as it announced its partnership with England Football teams.
That’s right; in a post on Xbox Wire, the company revealed that it had agreed to a multi-year deal with The Football Association (The FA) to become the Official Gaming Partner of the England National Teams. Thus, Xbox will be the gaming representative for the Lionesses, eLions, Three Lions, and Wembley Stadium.
The FA and Xbox share a collective mission of creating an inclusive, safe, fun, and accessible environment for all people who enjoy playing, whether that be soccer or games. To that end, “When Everybody Plays, We All Win” is the message the both The FA and Xbox are hoping to share with their partnership.
While Xbox is “committing to a grassroots gaming campaign with The FA,” it is unclear exactly how this will manifest. However, more information is certainly on the way.
