Xbox has announced on Xbox Wire that Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) is now available for Xbox Insiders in 22 countries.
Xbox Cloud Gaming allows anyone with a PC play to play Xbox’s library of games, regardless of computer specs. This will extend to any platform gamers want to play on, including mobile or tablet.
This follows Xbox’s June announcement where they opened up Xbox Cloud Gaming to all Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscribers. The difference, it seems, is that it is now available through the Xbox App rather than through a web browser.
To access Xbox Cloud Gaming, all Xbox Insiders need to do is launch the Xbox app on their computer, select “cloud games,” and start playing one of the over 100 Xbox games. Best of all, these games will have cross-saves on Xbox consoles and Xbox Game Pass.
While Xbox Insiders get access to Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) early, it will likely roll out to all users soon.
