JerryRigEverything is one of the best YouTube channels out there and that’s because there’s few things as satisfactory as watching the latest tech being destroyed with lighters and knives.
This time, the channel took to testing out Xiaomi’s Black Shark 2 gaming phone.
Some of you might remember that the handset was launched in March and arrived with a Snapdragon 855 chipset under the hood, a 4,000mAh battery and a direct touch multi-layer liquid cooling system which allows heat board dissipation across all heat areas.
Considering it’s a gaming phone, it will have to deal with quite a bit of abuse so, while the device did scratch quite a bit and had to deal with actual, tiny sharks being drawn all across its back, it performed very well in other areas.
The fingerprint reader was still functional even after the screen had been scratched and the chassis barely budged on either side when the bend test came around.
You can watch the entire test in the video below and decide for yourself if it’s worth grabbing one.
