The Dyson Zone headphones look truly science-fiction and have the functionality to match.
The over-ear Dyson Zone headphones come with a detachable vizor that’s actually a fan blowing purified air from the earcups.
That’s right, next to noise-canceling, Dyson put a portable air filtration system inside the earcups of the Dyson Zone. Pair the headphones with the visor and you’ll enjoy cleaner air while out and about. Dyson says these are “headphones delivering pure air and pure sound.”
Surprisingly so, the Dyson Zone is not Dyson’s way to add to the smart masks invented during the pandemic.

Dyson has been working on the Dyson Zone concept for the past six years, wanting to create a wearable that keeps people safe from urban pollution.
An Engadget reporter got the chance to try a prototype of the Dyson Zone and was very enthusiastic, saying it felt “surprisingly comfortable” and that it was the personal air bubble and portable air conditioner for the face he dreamed of.
Indeed, this looks like a promising smart mask – headphone combo and we can’t wait to see it at launch. Dyson said they plan to launch it this year but didn’t share a price.
