This fall, you’ve got two events lined up: the Apple Anniversary with the subsequent iPhone 8 reveal and the IFA 2017, the biggest trade show for consumer electronics. While you’re probably up to speed on the iPhone 8 rumors, something tells us you haven’t heard about Sony’s plans for IFA this year. The company is getting ready to reveal three new Sony Xperia phones at the event and we have the first specs #mobilemagic

After Sony unveiled a flagship-killer this year at Mobile World Congress (read all about the Sony Xperia XZ Premium here), we’re very excited about their plans for this September. From September 1 to 6, the company will be at IFA Berlin to show their latest smartphones, the rumored Xperia XZ1, XZ1 Compact, and X1.

Although the big reveal is months away, the key specs of the smartphones have leaked online. That’s how we know the Sony Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact will be powered by the same Snapdragon 835 processor and sport 4GB of RAM. The first one though will be significantly bigger, selling with a 5.2-inch full HD display. Also, it will pack a larger battery – a 3,000mAh cell.

The XZ1 Compact will go for a smaller display size, as the name suggests: 4.6-inches, HD. As for the battery, expect a 2,800mAh one.

The Sony Xperia X1 will be a more budget-friendly option, considering it’s going to be powered by a Snapdragon 660 chipset and show off a 5-inch FullHD display. It will still sell as an upper mid-ranger as it’s going to offer 4GB of RAM and a 2,800mAh battery.

What’s interesting is that recent reports claim that all three smartphones will feature a new camera technology that can enable “full pixel continuous and shoot”. We’ll see exactly what that entails in the months to come.
