Modular phone designs were never a hit with users, but Motorola is hoping to break the rule. In February, at MWC, the company presented its Polaroid Insta-Share Printer mod, an add-on that turns your smartphone in a Polaroid camera with a snap. Now, the module is finally available for purchase #mobilemagic
Two Moto Z mods became available this month. The Alexa smart speaker for the phone, an add-on that snaps magnetically onto the back of the phone, started shipping this week. Meanwhile, pre-orders for a Polaroid printer for the smartphone have just been made available through the official site.
What can you do with the Polaroid Insta-Share Printer Moto mod? Print the pictures you snap with the phone in 2 x 3 inch format. The images can be saved in the camera roll and then printed or directly from social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and Google Photos.

It’s a simple accessory really, but one that will make your nostalgia for the instant snap-and-print cameras diminish. And for those of you who were never Polaroid fans, think of it as a great way to make memories at birthdays, graduations, anniversaries… Plus, it can help you make last-minute photo albums or cards to give your loved ones.
If you don’t want to wait for a delivery, check out Verizon stores towards the end of the month. Units should arrive there just in time for Christmas shopping.
