Xiaomi has built its reputation on cheap and reliable devices ranging from smartphones to, more recently, wireless earbuds.
The Chinese manufacturer is offering a pair of true wireless earbuds for the price of $30 give or take, depending on the exchange rate. They have been dubbed the “AirDots”, which, I don’t really need to tell you, sounds dangerously close to a certain Apple product.
These also have a minimal design and come in all-white, complete with a case that acts as a charger. The AirDots also have silicone tips that help sound isolation and offer a more secure fit, alongside Bluetooth 5.0 support.
The earbuds have a battery life of four hours and, when matched with the charging case, play time goes up to 12 hours.
Now, we can’t really say that the AirDots will match the AirPods in overall performance but they do sound like a good alternative to Apple’s more pricier ones.
The earbuds are up for pre-order in China but there’s no word yet about their worldwide availability.
