Last year in May, Adobe snapped up e-commerce platform giant Magento in a $1.68 acquisition.
Now, Magento is fully integrated in the Adobe Commerce Cloud.
Just announced, the Commerce Cloud brings a cloud-based Magento platform fully integrated with Analytics Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Advertising Cloud and the rest of Adobe’s services.
Furthermore, this is the first time users get an integration with Amazon’s marketplace, being able to manage their inventory there directly from Adobe’s Commerce Cloud.
“If you think about behavioral data you get from your interactions with our content, that’s all very critical for understanding how your customers are interacting with your brand.
But now that we’ve got a commerce offering, we are actually able to put the dollars and cents behind that,” said Jason Woosley, Magento’s former VP of product and technology, now Adobe’s Commerce Cloud VP.
Magento developers, don’t worry! All the usual Magento extensions will work as intended in the Adobe Commerce Cloud.
