Asus Zenfone 6 Gets Significant Update With A Number of Improvements

You’ve seen the Zenfone as soon as we’ve seen it: it’s notchless, has a massive 5,000mAh battery, and an innovative flip camera system that allows you to take selfies with the main sensors.

Overall, there’s no bad things you can say about the device but, even so, Asus just issued a major update (v. 16.1210.1904.115) that wants to further improve some features.

Among them, the picture quality in the Super Night and HDR+ Enhanced modes and the ability to add the volume key functions into the mix when controlling the camera’s rotation.

The smartkey can be used as a shutter to take photos in Camera mode and the camera now benefits from improved rotation stability. There are some updates to the default wallpaper and ringtone.

The translation strings in Setting have also been optimized and TaiwanMobile Volte, MTS Volte/VoWifi, and KDDI/ Docomo/SBM Volte have also been enabled.

The update will not arrive instantly, so don’t worry if you don’t see these changes yet: Asus announced that it’s delivering it in a phased manner, so it will take a few days before you’ll see the difference.
