Back in May, we only had leaks about Audi’s e-tron Quattro, which hinted at the vehicle’s aerodynamic performance and something Audi called “virtual exterior mirrors”, which we didn’t know what to make of but wonder no more, because the company finally offered a proper look at the electric SUV.

Audi showcased the e-tron prototype for the fist time in Copenhagen at the Royal Danish Playhouse.

The insides of the car are in themselves a powerhouse, with the driver pretty much surrounded by screens. Not only you have two touchscreen in the center stack but there are 7-inch OLED displays above the door handles which will offer a view of what’s behind the car. The driver also has three different views in the MMI system, fit for various situations – highway driving, turning and parking.

The image can be moved in any way the driver finds it more fitting, providing required field of vision as well as the ability to zoom in and out of the image.

The car also packs a 705W, 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system and it offers enough room for five people inside it, plus cargo.

Unfortunately, we won’t be able to see the car in action just yet as the company delayed the official unveiling of the e-tron due to an internal scandal that has set it back at least a few months.
