Bixby’s voice control option may have been delayed in South Korea, but when it did arrive, it made quite the entrance. Besides executing tasks when asked, Bixby showed some native rap skills. You heard me – it turns out Samsung’s virtual assistant can rap and beatbox like the best of them #mobilemagic

Samsung Galaxy S8 owners in South Korea were pretty disappointed to hear that their Bixby can’t understand them and answer their voice commands. But all that disillusion went away when Samsung released the coveted update.  People didn’t just get the chance to talk with their virtual assistant, but also hear it rap and beatbox. It turns out Bixby is quite the colorful character.

Of course, such a bad boy from the ‘hood like Bixby couldn’t help but take a subtle jab at Apple’s Siri. Users said that the first characters of one song’s lyrics spell out “I am better than Siri” in Korean (Android Authority confirms).

It’s your turn, Apple. Can you make Siri smart enough to give a hidden reply? And where does this AI war leave Google Assistant and Alexa? We’ll have to see. Until now, these virtual assistants have been known to make jokes and give witty answers. The future is going to be interesting in their world.
