We’ve been following Lenovo’s Legion series for a while now. Be it laptops or smartphones, we’ve told you about each product and its unique selling point even comparing it with other gaming industry monsters. Now, the Lenovo Legion lineup seems to be welcoming another device, Lenovo Legion Play, a handheld console for both mobile gamers and PC gamers looking to take their gaming experience to the streets.
Lenovo Legion Play just surfaced on the Internet as a handheld console from the company. It’s supposedly their response to devices such as Steam Deck and Nintendo Switch.
So what does Lenovo Legion Play bring to the table?
A FHD display of 7 inches with HDR10 support and a 16:9 aspect ratio. With a fairly monochromatic design, Legion Play is more discreet than edgy. Nevertheless, it features dual speakers, built-in controllers that don’t detach and a decent 7,000 mAh battery.
The console encourages both mobile gaming as well as PC game streaming. Users can do either or both on a modified version of Android and Nvidia’s GeForce Now platform.
Specs are still a mystery so we can’t say what the final price will be and what is the planned launch date.
When we know more, you’ll be the first to find out 😉
