Fall Guys Season 3.5 Announced, Brings New Level and Level Variations

Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout was an internet sensation when it released as a free game on PlayStation Plus last August. Although not as popular as it once was, the battle royale, game show mash-up still has a sizeable player base thanks to its relatively frequent updates. The latest will be a mid-season update.

Announced on the official Fall Guys Twitter account, the Season 3.5 update will include several major and minor game-changing features. While only one new level will be added, there will be over 40 variations for the already existing levels. There will also be a new DLC pack as well as cosmetics items (including new Godzilla, Sonic, and Goose Game costumes) which will come out over the next couple weeks.

According to a report by Video Games Chronicle, Fall Guys developers Devolver Digital have denied that the game will be coming to Xbox. This unfortunately means that all the content Season 3.5 brings will be available only to players on PlayStation and PC.

Fall Guys Season 3 was originally announced during The Game Awards 2020. Players have been able to experience the wintery wonderland since it released December 15^th. The game, although massively popular, has been criticized in the past for its fairly repetitive gameplay loop. Fairly large midseason updates like this should allow for more consistent refreshes to the game.
