As the company said, Instagram Sans also works as a new way for their global community to express themselves on Instagram, through Stories and Reels.
For this, Instagram teamed up with language experts worldwide to adjust the typeface to global scripts Arabic, Thai and Japanese included. We want to support all of our creators and community members who push culture forward to express themselves fully in any language they choose.
Nevertheless, the new fonts have a nice touch and offer a more distinct identity. The new system focuses on content, leaving all the other elements simple and clean.
