At the end of June, a report claimed that the LG V40 will come with five cameras and now that report is backed up by another source, which also reveals the launch date.

While this leak doesn’t include too many details about the features, it says that the phone launch is set for October but claims that the phone will not show up at IFA Berlin in August.

However, its predecessor, the V30, was unveiled last year at IFA 2017 so chances are the V40 could still make an appearance at this year’s event, for tradition’s sake. If that happens, we’ll take it for a spin since we will be there on the ground to check out the best tech on display.

In any case, rumors and leaks so far indicate that the LG V40 ThinQ flagship will be powered by a Snapdragon 845 and that the notched display will let you turn “off” the notch.

The triple rear camera you can see in the unofficial renders above is expected to combine a 20 MP, a 16 MP and a 13 MP sensor, as well as a super-wide-angle lens and a super-telephoto lens. Unfortunately, no details were revealed about the dual selfie shooter just yet.
