The Meizu 16s’ specs have already made an appearance on Geekbench and a couple of images featuring the front of the phone also leaked online on Weibo a while ago, showing a phone that features minimal bezels and a chin that is, reportedly, 1.5mm thinner than the one previously found on the Meizu 16.
While we’ve seen the phone from the front, this is the first time we actually see the back. The phones in the newly leaked images feature an all-white case and shows that the camera arrangement has shifted to the left.
There are two cameras present with the AF or ToF sensor surrounded by an LED flash ring, a Meizu trademark.
But what raises a question mark about the phone is the fact that the Meizu logo is placed in a different part of the phone’s rear in both photos, which makes us ask ourselves if the images have any credibility at all.
We can only wait it out for the moment but as we do, we can tell you that the phone is rumored to arrive with a 6.2 inch AMOLED screen that will feature an in-display fingerprint scanner. The main shooter will be a Sony IMX586 sensor that should arrive with OIS.
We’re expecting the device sometime in May but considering it has already peeked out on Geekbench and the leaks are coming in fast, we might get to see it earlier than that.
