Naughty Dog Hiring Multiple Positions for Standalone Multiplayer Game

The multiplayer Naughty Dog game keeps growing in scope as the game developer is hiring for a new role.

As seen from a tweet from Naughty Dog Jobs, the company is hiring for several positions specifically for a multiplayer game. The positions range from game scripter, level designer, visual effects artist, and more.

As VGC notes, the company is being very aggressive about its hiring for a multiplayer experience that balances multiplayer gameplay and cinematic experiences Naughty Dog is known for.

While there have been few official mentions of what the game might be, many are speculating it will be a standalone Factions multiplayer mode for The Last of Us Part II. Multiplayer assets have already been found within The Last of Us Part II and the job listing tweet does show a screenshot from the game, potentially furthering this theory.
