The OnePlus Nord 3 smartphone will be launched in the course of next summer, almost one year after the OnePlus Nord 2. While there’s plenty of time left, the first rumors about the device are already beginning to emerge.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G Is Now Official: A Mid-Range Device With An Affordable Price Tag
The new phone from the Chinese company, according to a post on Weibo from well-known tipster Digital Chat Station, could outshine all the best midrange devices available today, at least when it comes to one feature. This would be the charging power which, according to the leakster, could reach 150 watts.
This charging technology could come combined with a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor, which was introduced during the Mobile World Congress this year in Barcelona.
The phone might have a 6.7 inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of up to 90 or 120Hz.
As mentioned above, we’ll find the 5nm octa-core chipset Dimensity 8100, alongside12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256 GB of internal UFS 3.1 storage.
Camera-wise, we expect to see a 50MP Sony IMX766 lens on the back, alongside an 8MP wide angle and a 2MP macro.
On the front, we might find a 16MP selfie snapper located in the center of the display, and not in the left upper corner, which is the position we’re used to from the company’s font cameras.
We can also expect a 4,500mAh battery with a rumored 150W SuperVOOC fast charge.
The phone will have an in-display fingerprint scanner and will run Android 12 out of the box.
However, keep in mind these are nothing but rumors and we’re still a long way from the launch, so take this information with a pinch of salt.
