This new Razer Phone Cooler Chroma might just be the thing.
This colorful, RGB-illuminated cooling fan mounts to the back of your iPhone one of two ways: magnetically using MagSafe cases or traditional using a universal clamp that has extendable arms.
Why do you need it?
If you play a lot of games on an iPhone, this cooler can help keep your device at optimal temperatures and extend battery life.
The Razer Cooler Chroma contains a cooling plate, a cooling tile, a heat sink and a seven blade fan fitted with 12 LEDs which support 16.8 million colors, displayed in multiple patterns and effects.
The only downside is that it doesn’t have a battery itself and draws too much power to be plugged in your phones’ USB-C port, so you’ll have to connect it to a traditional power source like an outlet or a portable battery.
That limits its portability somehow but, considering it’s made for long gaming sessions, not a quick game during your commute, it shouldn’t pose too many problems.
The Razer Phone Cooler Chroma is already available on Razer’s site for $60 and might be a cool Christmas gift for the iPhone lover in your life.
