The world is definitely ready for foldable phones of any type but what about foldable cameras?
Shenzhen-based company Insta360 thinks so and just announced such a gadget.
The Insta360 is a very interesting camera for 360-degrees shooting (as the name suggests) and, once folded, it is capable of taking 3D pictures as well.
On the specs front, the Insta360 is quite the little cube that could. With its dual cameras, it’s capable of shooting at up to 5.7K in 30 FPS, at 4K in 30 or 50 FPS or, for butter-smooth transitions, at 100 FPS in 3,008 x 1,504 pixels.
With built-in six-axis gyroscopic stabilization and Insta360’s proprietary stabilization software FlowState, the Evo should catch the eye of both amateur and professional videographers. As for photos, it takes 18MP ones.
The Insta360 is already available for order at $419 and promises “it’s tightly integrated with Oculus GO, HTC Vive Focus and Samsung Gear VR.”
