Your facialist knows in a heartbeat what’s wrong with your skin. Unfortunately, you can’t bring him home and ask for advice every single day. But HiMirror can do that instead #objectmagic
This smart mirror developed by New Kinpo Group can stay on your bathroom wall, home desk or on the lobby. Either way, it will greet you every morning with notifications, weather reports, calendar alerts but most importantly – a skin analysis to your liking.
The 11 x 16.4 inches device uses facial recognition and their own technology to track your features and focus on firmness, texture, clarity, brightness and overall health of your skin. The data goes in the app and comes out with pertinent device. It takes into consideration your particular complexion and ethnicity so it can deliver reliable results. Plus, if you’re undecided between different beauty products, HiMirror helps you scan the barcode to find out more.
As great as that sounds, we do have a privacy issue, especially if you set it in the bathroom. To solve that, the manufacturers thought about a lens cap that you’ll hopefully never forget to twist when necessary.
Check it out for yourself next week, as HiMirror launches in U.S. on October 17 at a price of $189.
