If you cook a lot and are always trying out new recipes, in this day and age you most likely use your phone or your tablet in the kitchen. And regardless how many times you wipe your hands, it’s almost impossible not to mess up the precious devices one way or another.
But worry not: Whirlpool’s KitchenAid unveiled its new Smart Display at CES and it promises to be the saving grace of all you home cooks out there.
The display comes with Google Assistant and offers voice and visual meal planning too, all provided by Yummly. There’s also step-by-step video instructions that will be delivered to your kitchen by the top chefs.
But the best news is that the 10-inch display is water jet-resistant with a IPX-5 rating, so you can expect it to withstand all of your accidental splashes. Don’t drop it in a sink full of water though.
It can also help you make shopping lists and order ingredients from Google Express while at the same time maintain the perfect atmosphere in your kitchen by playing music or streaming movies.
The KitchenAid Smart Display should become available sometime in the second half of the year and it’s expected to cost somewhere between $200 and $300.
