It’s been so long, Bayonetta fans had given up hope but finally Nintendo offered an update.
Announced back at the 2017 Game Awards, this is one game we thought was vaporwave.
Now, Nintendo and Platinum games decided to announce the Bayonetta 3 launch directly on Twitter.
There were no bells and whistles with this announcement. Instead, Platinum simply dropped the new trailer for the Bayonetta 3 on Nintendo Switch along with a surprise. Bayonetta 3 will launch on the Switch on October 28th.
The surprise? A further tweet from Platinum Games revealed that the game will have a “Naive Angel” modesty mode which will make the game more friendly to conservative players – or those playing at home in the family room.
If you remember from previous games, Bayonetta has a certain attack that leaves her fully nude and covered in just her own hair. With the Bayonetta 3 “Naive Angel” mode, the character will be dressed instead. Still, don’t expect a crew neck or anything like that because this is Bayonetta – and she doesn’t like understated.
