It’s the third day in a row since Apple surprised its customers with some good news and this one is going to make a lot of them happy.
Apple announced the second-gen AirPods with wireless charging case this time, confirming months of rumors. The new AirPods also come with hands-free Siri, so you can summon your assistant simply by saying “Hey, Siri” instead of tapping a button like the Galaxy Buds require.
Apple said that the new AirPods have a new H1 chip that not only brings Siri but improves battery life by an extra hour and speeds up connectivity, which should put a smile on user’s face.
For those who already have the old AirPods, the new wireless charging case will be available separately for $79.
Other purchasing options are new AirPods and standard charging case for $159 or new AirPods and new wireless charging case for $199.
At checkout, you can also add an engraving free of charge.
Just how good the new AirPods are?
On a single charge, these wireless earbuds offer five hours of listening time and three hours of talk time, which is a 50% improvement over the previous model.
