New Images of Oppo Watch Show Voice Calls

oppo smartwatch render

The Oppo Watch was announced in late January with a single render, which showed off a design extremely similar to the Apple Watch.

The wearable was supposed to be presented at MWC 2020 but, unfortunately, that event and others were cancelled due to coronavirus fears.

Now, Oppo is planning to launch the Oppo Watch alongside the Oppo Find X2 on March 6.

The company also unveiled two new renders, which clarify what’s on the side of the wearable.

It’s not a single crown, there are actually two flat buttons to navigate the menu.

The gold Oppo Watch will have a cream silicone strap, while the blue Oppo Watch is accessorized with a black silicone band.

The image also confirms the voice call function, which could mean e-SIM support.

It’s unclear whether the Oppo Watch will use Android Wear OS and what other features it will bring, though this image surfaced on Weibo seems to confirm Wear OS.

Fortunately, those looking for a budget smartwatch that kinda looks like Apple Watch won’t have to wait too much.

Check back later this week for the full details, after Oppo’s launch event!
