The US is getting another extremely affordable Android Go smartphone with the launch of Asus Zenfone Live (L1). A Best Buy exclusive, an unlocked device goes for just $110 and packs plenty for that price tag.
The ZenFone Live comes with a 5.5-inch LCD screen with 1,449 x 720 px resolution and an 18:9 ratio, powered by a 3,000 mAh battery.
With dual nano-SIM slots and microSD support, it’s could be a very good decoy phone for world-weary travelers not willing to risk their main device. Since it features an 8 MP camera and a 5 MP selfie shooter, you’ll also be able to use Instagram Lite on the go. However, it’s still an Android Go device, so don’t expect the ZenFone Live to pack any punches specs wise. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 425 processor and has just 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of storage, so multi-tasking will prove to be quite challenging.
For impressive specs, there’s always the powerful gaming-oriented Asus ROG phone but that’s sure to set you back a pretty penny.
