It’s been two years since the launch of the nubia Z30, so it makes sense that the company has a new flagship in the pipeline.
Thanks to a leaked render, you can meet the nubia Z30 before the company is ready to unveil it.
Just as the company started teasing the device by polling nubia fans on Weibo on what they care most about in a flagship, a nubia Z30 render showed up revealing some interesting specs.
First off, you’ll notice no notch or punch-hole, which means you’re looking at an under-display selfie camera, a feature used for the first time in last year’s ZTE Axon 20 series.
That leaves plenty of room for a generous display with curved sides, though we don’t know yet what size it might have.
The same render does reveal the camera on the back. It’s a quad camera setup with “100x hybrid zoom”, 16 mm focal length for the ultra wide camera and 135 mm focal length for the telephoto lens.
Based on this render, nubia seems to have abandoned the secondary back display from the nubia Z20, one of the most eye-catching features of that device.
The nubia Z20 carried a 5.1 AMOLED display on its back and, while it might not have been particularly useful, it did look cool!
So far, we know that the Nubia Z30 will use the latest flagship Qualcomm processor, the Snapdragon 888 chipset.
