Some industry veterans can draw a few parallels between the Google Pixel 4a and the fabled Loch Ness monster. They both have pictures in the wild, the phone and the monster never showed up in person at any event, and now they both have merch.

An imminent Pixel 4a launch is inevitable, and most of the fans are expecting to get the phone before Christmas. The only problem is the fact that the current manufacturing market has suffered during the pandemic, and some supply chains are not reliable at this moment in time. But this did not stop companies like GPNP or MAIKEZI from listing accessories on Amazon, most likely based on Google Specs, or fan renders.
A recent Reddit post indicated that the Google Pixel 4a should arrive on July 7 and come in the Just Black and Barely Blue versions, at €509.56, which converts to $575/£460. With that price point and the prices indicated for accessories by the Amazon storefront, the Pixel 4a looks like a good value phone proposition. If you want to go with a hard shell or a soft case, it is all up to you. But we advise our readers to wait until the launch of the Google Phone, and then get the accessories that you need. Although the cases are cheap, there is no guarantee that they’ll fit the phone once the final product is out.
