The wait is over! The next Nintendo Direct has been scheduled!

As announced on Nintendo’s official Twitter account, the Nintendo Direct is set for Wednesday February 9th at 2pm PT/5pm ET. The Direct will contain “roughly 40 minutes of information mainly focused on Nintendo Switch games launching in the first half of 2022.”
This Direct will be the first since September 23rd, 2021. In that Direct, we got the reveal of Kirby and the Forgotten Land and closer looks at both Bayonetta 3 and Splatoon 3. The Forgotten Land was recently given a March 25th release date so it is possible we’ll hear more about Kirby’s first 3D open-world-esque adventure. Other games that may appear include Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot and maybe (but probably not) Mario Kart 9.
