Persona is celebrating its 25th Anniversary and its rumored that Atlus will be bringing over a fan favorite game to a new console!
As reported by Nintendo Life, there are rumors circulating that Persona 4 Golden will be heading to the Nintendo Switch sometime this year! Most recently, host “NateDrake” of Nate the Hate podcast stated that he believes the game will be ported over to be the Switch and PlayStation by the end of the year.
Persona 4 Golden previously was ported to Steam with great success. On release, it held the top position on the Top Sellers list for quite a while and maintains an overwhelmingly positive review. It is also possible the game does become ported as part of Persona’s 25th Anniversary Celebration. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, the Persona 4 fighting game spin-off, has already been announced for a PS4, Switch, and Steam remaster. Given this announcement, a Persona 4 Golden port would also make sense to create a deeper connection with the characters across the games.
However, all this is still up in the air. Persona 5 was speculated to come to the Switch for a long time, yet only Persona 5 Strikers actually made it to the console.
