In numbers, GPU Turbo increases graphics processing efficiency by 60% and also reduces SoC power consumption by 30%, something that will definitely get gamers’ attention!
Huawei’s GPU Turbo is being deployed as part of the EMUI 8.1 beta testing in China, which will start with 2,000 owners of Huawei P20s and P20 Pros.
Afterward, according to GizmoChina, the beta will extend to the Huawei Mate line, Honor V10 and Honor 10. Honor 9i, Honor 9, Honor V9 and Honor Play 7X will soon follow. In all other markets, EMUI 8.1 will start testing in August.
