This August, Samsung is gearing up to unveil several devices at their Unpacked event. Besides the two new phones, Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Z Fold 3, the new Galaxy Watch 4 will be on display as well as the company’s latest TWS earbuds – Galaxy Buds 2. How will the earbuds look?
Unlike their predecessors, Galaxy Buds 2 will be glossier and smaller. In fact, it seems they will adopt the rather safe design of the Galaxy Buds Pro, instead of reviving the Galaxy Buds Live bean form or keep the triangular shape of the first Galaxy Buds Plus.
At least three of the colorways Samsung chose for the Buds 2 have leaked, courtesy to prolific leakster Evan Blass.
Both the purple and the white earbuds will come in a white case, it appears, while there’s a black model on the production line too. To view them better, Blass posted these animations:
The Galaxy Buds 2 will have ANC, a USB-C port, and a charging case with an LED indicator. The specifics are still murky but we’ll come back with info as soon as they’re made available.
The Buds 2 will have a Thom Browne brother and come with Galaxy Watch 4 as accessories to the stars of the show, the Galaxy Z Fold 3, and the Galaxy Z Flip 3. The expected price of the Buds 2 when they get unveiled this August 11 is somewhere between $149-$169.
